The latest data from the Coffer Peach Business Tracker, the industry’s sales barometer, shows that bad weather at the end of the month held back sales growth in September at Britain’s leading pub and restaurant groups. Nyetimber’s announcement that it will not be harvesting this year, combined with forecasts of grape yields being 30% and more down, have resulted in very gloomy expectations.
