Marketing Week reports today that 40/40 London, the joint venture between US rapper Jay-Z and England footballer Ashley Cole, is calling on brands to back their philanthropic scheme.
The two celebrities are launching a series of projects in the UK, aimed at 11 to 25 year olds, to encourage them into employment.
The projects include the opening of a new restaurant in central London, as previously reported in HandCNews.
The pair are hoping brands will become involved with the 40/40 ventures by donating their products or branding certain elements of the projects. Surely an opportunity for those brands targeting the restaurant sector..?
The full details of how the pair are seeking backing from brands for 40/40 can be seen here at Marketing Week
