Chefs at the five-star Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge are making more than 1,500 meals a week for local disadvantaged residents. Government reject £750m help for breweries
The Government has rejected a deferral of beer duty payments due on 25th April relating to beer produced in March. Beer duty for the whole of the next quarter, amounting to £750 million, April-June, will also not be deferred.
