Chancellor Rishi Sunak has told UK airlines not to look to the government for help getting through the COVID-19 crisis and to find other forms of funding. World financial markets rise today, and FTSE rewards Wetherspoons treatment of workers
It was a relief to see financial markets across the world bounce back today, making significant gains across the board. In London the FTSE 100 closed at 5,460, up 466 points or 9.35%.
