Time called on Cain’s Brewery
Cain’s has been brewing in Liverpool for over 150 years, but has suffered well-publicised problems in recent years. Now, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs is owed £5 million and has called time on the brewery, which is understood to have debts totalling £8 million.
