At a time of record unemployment in the US one QSR is investing in the long term futures of its franchisees and their employees, Dunkin’.
As the US hospitality industry is planning to reopen the main focus for Dunkin’ currently, still better known as Dunkin’ Doughnuts, is doing so by investing in long term future careers with the brand.
The investment is in offering education opportunities, and training to enable enhanced career prospects with Dunkin’.
The QSR giant is looking to recruit 25,000 new roles in more than 8,500 restaurants across 41 US states.
Through a new partnership with Southern New Hampshire University, Dunkin’ will offer low-cost college degrees to its independent franchisees and their employees. Through the initiative, Dunkin’ franchisees have the opportunity to offer their restaurant employees a route to an associate or bachelor’s degree from SNHU.
SNHU is a private, non-profit, accredited institution with more than 135,000 students online and on campus.
The recruitment drive is been rolled out through an advertising campaign with BBDO New York. The campaign will launch in both English and Spanish on Monday, June 8, and will be featured on digital, social and television media.
