Win a share of £50,000 in hospitality marketing
The Covid-19 crisis has impacted suppliers in the hospitality industry every bit as much as hospitality providers.
We have reported widely throughout the pandemic on the detrimental effect Covid-19 has had on restaurants, hotels, caterers, pubs & bars, and all hospitality providers.
The suppliers to those venues have largely suffered in the background at the same time, being far less widely reported.
Suppliers are a truly essential part of our hospitality industry, no provider of hospitality could operate without a team of suppliers working alongside them.
The same principle is equally true for us, without advertisers, hospitality product and service providers, we couldn’t publish every day.
Many suppliers like their customers will be looking at balance sheets and cash flow projections right now grimacing, the past few months have been uniquely difficult.
Also like their customers, they will be looking for costs that can be taken out or reduced, survival being the new priority.
H&C News has made its living from advertisers working with us to deliver their marketing messages to our readership. So, we want to give something back when most needed.
For our existing customers we are already providing additional advertising at no additional cost during the Covid-19 crisis.
For suppliers across the hospitality industry that we don’t know, but we do know are in all likelihood struggling, we want to help.
Help by holding a free to enter competition open to all hospitality suppliers.

Complete the form at the bottom of this page to request our media file.
Then using costs from our media file submit a marketing plan explaining how you will use the first prize if you win.
Your plan needs to set out – your objectives – your strategy and tactics – and your choice of media selection (content, display, social) – to achieve them.
You will also need to submit your response tactics – how you will align responding to marketing to build your sales pipeline.
Please consider what type of response you are seeking, and how you will respond.
How will you migrate responses into your sales pipeline.
How you integrate sales and marketing and how do you track your return on investment.
Completed entries need to be submitted by 1st July 2020 and any entries received after that date will not be considered.
If your plan is selected for consideration for one of the prizes, you may receive a phone call from one or more of the judges to discuss your plan.
The winners will be selected by the judges collective assessments of the entries. We are looking for the schedules most likely to generate the best return on investment for the advertiser.
If you are one of the winners, you will be asked to work with us on a case study of the campaign post completion. But this is not mandatory.
There is no cost to enter other than your own time to create the plan for entry.
