Caffè Nero earlier today announced it will open 400 stores for eat-in from the 4th July. The stores will open with protocols in place to ensure its employees and customers remain safe and in accordance with government advice and social distancing guidance.
The 400 stores will offer coffee and pastries alongside an initially reduced food menu.
Gerry Ford, Founder and Group CEO, said: “I’m delighted to be able to reopen 400 stores for eat-in. We’ve seen high demand since we’ve started opening for takeaway and our teams are excited to welcome customers back properly.
We have prioritised protecting the health and wellbeing of our people and our customers in setting these stores, while also providing safe, friendly community spaces as the country starts to reopen. We have taken clear steps and followed government guidelines to ensure that is the case”.
The majority of the reopened Caffè Nero stores will also be offering UberEats delivery services for those customers who would like to have their Caffè Nero orders delivered to their homes.
