Aviator appoints new GM – Aviator, a luxury hotel in Farnborough, North Hampshire has appointed Adam Skrzypczak as its new General Manager, bringing with him four and a half invaluable years’ contribution as Director of Operations at the property and a wealth of prior industry expertise.
With almost two decades’ experience within hospitality, including success at properties in London, the home counties as well as further afield in Eastern and Central Europe, Adam will be responsible for leading Aviator, and the hotel’s neighbouring gastropub The Swan, out of the current uncertain times to resume full operations and thereafter driving the business on a growth trajectory over the next phase of its journey. Adam commences his new role from 1st July.
A well-seasoned hotelier, Adam began his career in Poland before moving to London to work at the Sheraton Park Tower.
A successful three year tenure at the luxury Hertfordshire hotel The Grove followed, where Adam managed The Stables restaurant and bar.
Adam then moved back to London for five years where he managed The Montagu Restaurant and Churchill Bar at the Hyatt Regency before we was promoted to Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at the property.
After refurbishing and relaunching the Churchill Bar & Terrace, Adam was invited to lead the Opening Task Force Team as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Hyatt Regency in Russia.
Before joining Aviator, Adam managed all Food and Beverage operations at the 414 bedroom Beaumont Estate in Windsor.
Since joining Aviator in 2015 as Director of Operations, Adam has been instrumental in a number of successes including, the hotel attaining its four AA Red Star status, the opening of the hotel’s gastropub The Swan, coordinating two Farnborough International Air shows and contributing to year-on-year growth in revenue and performance through his responsibility for the Food & Beverage, Front of House, Housekeeping, Kitchen and Maintenance departments.

Commenting on his appointment, Adam said: “Having seen first-hand how the business has grown from strength to strength over the past few years, I am looking forward to building upon these successes by leading the hotel through this period of uncertainty and positioning it on a route for growth, alongside a dynamic and dedicated team that I already know and respect.”
In addition to Adam’s appointment, further management changes at the hotel include the promotion of Magda Gora to Director of Rooms, Fabrizio Braga to Director of Food and Beverage, both of whom will be joining the hotel’s Executive Team, and the promotion of Meetings and Events Manager Vicky Trevaskis to the Senior Management team.
