As the UK is set for another weekend of severe weather and waits for Storm Denis to do its worst tonight and tomorrow, the UK hospitality industry is also set for a bumpy period.
The Met Office forecast for the effect of Storm Denis tomorrow can be seen below.
Heavy #rain and very strong winds will continue to affect England and Wales overnight and into Sunday morning. The focus for the strongest #wind will transfer to Scotland and Northern Ireland during Sunday afternoon and into Monday, accompanied by plenty of squally showers pic.twitter.com/7AgAcXPPw6

The storm is currently being forecast as worse than last weekend’s Storm Ciara, some parts of the UK could see a month’s rain in the next 24 hours.
With hundreds of flights being cancelled across the UK this will lead to demand for thousands of hotel rooms as many people are unable to travel.
Ports are similarly disrupted, and doubtless nearby hotels, restaurants and pubs will sought for accommodation, food and drink as well as shelter.
