The Clink Café has announced its 2020 series of events, Lock-Ins @ The Clink Café with the first special guest speaker Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham on Thursday 20th February.
Andy Burnham joins guests at The Clink Café to discuss his support for social enterprise in Manchester and his own pledges to support homeless charities.
Guests will have an opportunity to pose their own questions, meet Clink graduates on the night whilst they enjoy delicious canapés and nibbles prepared by the Clink Café team.
The first in a series of events featuring notable Manchester figures, Lock-Ins @ The Clink Café aim to promote the Café as an event destination in Manchester.

Looking forward to the event Chris Moore, The Clink Charity CEO told us: “We are delighted to have Andy Burnham’s support for the first Lock-Ins @ The Clink Café.
Christopher Moore, chief executive, The Clink Charity“As a passionate advocate of social enterprise and support for the homeless driving change in Manchester, together we can demonstrate how changing attitudes is helping create second chances and transforming lives.”
The Clink Charity operates The Clink Café as part of its transformative work in the City of Manchester in 2018.
Working with Clink Graduates and homeless clients from The Clink, Centrepoint, Homes of Hope, Back on Track and Step Together in Manchester, the Café offers a second chance for those looking for a new way of life.
The Clink works with prisons across the UK training offenders and helping them gain important qualifications so that they can start a new life on the outside. The Café is part of this story and our commitment to Social Gastronomy, where the power of food can change lives.
Supporting this important outreach work by using The Clink Café event space is one of the ways to support this important project.
Further Lock-In dates and guest speakers to be announced shortly.
Tickets for Lock-Ins @ The Clink Café are priced at £19.50 with limited availability. Book exclusively via Design My Night.
