The 2020 Guinness Six Nations Still is not halfway through and Ireland already have silverware in their sights as they head to Twickenham tomorrow, a win will see them fly home with the Triple Crown. This game is set to be the standout match of this year’s Championship so far in a must win game for both teams.
The game will witness a Family rivalry rarely seen in sport as England’s captain and inside centre Owen Farrell will line up at Twickenham against his father and Ireland head coach Andy Farrell. A truly momentous day for the Farrell family.
England are favourites with the bookies, but for us Ireland looked a far better team against Wales in their last game than England did against Scotland.
The game will see millions of sports fans all over the world come together to marvel for eighty minutes at the Twickenham clash.
The Belfry Hotel & Resort will be one location where sports fans will gather to watch and cheer on their team as they partner with Guinness to host a Six Nations pop-up ‘Fan Zone’ throughout the Championship 2020 games.
Fans can enjoy a pint of the ‘black stuff’ and soak up the Six Nations spirit as it sweeps the nation once again, as they watch the action on the big screens in Sam’s Club House.
Chris Eigelaar, General Manager at The Belfry Hotel & Resort is certainly looking forward to the game and told us: “Given that the resort is such a well-known sporting venue, the thrill and excitement surrounding events like the Six Nations is certainly recognised and celebrated here at The Belfry. Our partnership with Guinness and live screenings in Sam’s Club House champions the spirit of the Six Nations, providing fans with the perfect spot to soak up the atmosphere with friends and family.”
