The UK group of authentic Greek restaurants, The Real Greek, is expanding its portfolio with the opening of a new flagship venue at Tower Bridge in early December. This is the second new opening of 2019, taking the number of sites in the group to 17.
The Real Greek has continued to thrive in the current market, offering diners a contemporary Aegean experience, that allows guests to relive the flavours, passion, and fun Greek cuisine and hospitality.
The new 120 cover restaurant is situated in one of the most famous locations in London besides the city’s iconic Tower Bridge. With the Shard and the Tower of London in walking distance, the location is the meeting point of the capital’s unique blend of history and modernity, and symbolises The Real Greek’s commitment to modern dining steeped in tradition.
Situated overlooking the Thames in the heart of London, the new venue offers stunning views of the River and of the City`s famous skyline. The area is buzzing in the evening and throngs with tourists, office workers and Londoners alike, making the new location the perfect destination for those looking for a fun and exciting dining experience.
Authentically Greek, the restaurant will offer a menu designed for social dining, with a choice of traditional and contemporary Greek meze dishes, flame-grilled meats, souvlaki wraps and salads, all piled high on the table for sharing over authentic Greek wine and beer.
With all the energy of quintessential Greek dining, The Real Greek is perfect for dates, family-get together and a catch up with friends. Its traditional Greek hospitality always delivers a buzzing atmosphere and occasional live entertainment makes it the ideal location for birthdays, anniversaries and parties.
Christos Karatzenis, Director of Operations at The Real Greek said, “We’re so excited to be launching our new flagship site. The British love of both Greek cuisine and The Real Greek’s authentic Aegean hospitality has helped the group expand in the current market.
Tower Bridge is one of the most famous landmarks in London, if not the world, and surrounded by so many tourist and cultural hotspots. Our menus are brilliant for groups of diners, particularly those tired out from a busy day of exploring London as well as being hugely popular amongst local office workers at both lunch and dinner time.”
