SSP Group who operate of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide, has announced it has teamed up with Cornwall-based Warrens Bakery to open a new outlet at Gatwick Airport.
The new Warrens Bakery, which will open at the airport’s North Terminal in early November will seat 138 people, with ample space for individual customers as well as families and large groups. It will offer passengers Warrens Bakery’s award-winning range of Cornish pasties, which are made to traditional recipes and hand crimped at its bakery in Cornwall. The bakery café will be serving up British classics for breakfast, lunch and snacking throughout the day including breakfast baps, Belgian buns, sandwiches and pastries.
The team at the new Gatwick unit have been specially trained at Warrens Bakery’s Centre of Excellence and have experience working at the brand’s high street stores, ensuring excellent service and full knowledge of the heritage and production methods behind Warrens Bakery’s signature products.
