Accor earlier today announced Ana Jorge’s appointment as Executive Director of Design & Technical Services, Northern Europe for Economy & Midscale Brands. Based in London, Jorge will be responsible for coordinating and developing all aspects of design and technical services across the region.
Part of the brief is to ensure brand guidelines are implemented in all construction, conversion and refurbishment projects for Accor’s economy and midscale brands. These include Mercure, Novotel, ibis and Ibis Styles and Ana will also be instrumental in the development of new brands in the region, including Tribe and JO&JOE.
Jorge joined Accor in 2006 and most recently held the position of Director of Design and Technical Services in the UK and Ireland, providing support to the development team and working with Accor’s many hotel partners across the UK. Prior to that, Ana was a project manager for Accor Spain, responsible for new hotel construction projects across all of Accor’s brands in Spain.
