Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa has been voted second in the ‘Top 35 Hotels in the United Kingdom’ at the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2019. The event was held at the One World Observatory in the World Trade Center, New York earlier this week.
The awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and this is the first year that Condé Nast Traveller has combined the annual surveys in the US & UK into one global Reader’s Choice Awards list.
Silmiya Hendricks, Commercial Director was delighted saying: “We are honoured to be recognised by both the US and UK audiences and hope to continue our amazing partnership with Condé Nast Traveller. Thank you to all the voters who put us forward, we are thrilled.”
Six miles outside Bath and set in 500 acres of parkland, Lucknam Park is a former Palladian mansion, now a 5* hotel. It has a Michelin-starred restaurant under Hywel Jones, as well as a less formal Brasserie, and boasts a formidable Cookery School, a world-class ESPA Spa and a renowned Equestrian Centre.
The hotel has recently introduced a stunning four-bedroom ‘Squire’s Cottage’ to Cottages by Lucknam Park. The brand-new Squire’s Cottage has all the advantages of a home away from home, while enjoying the service associated with a 5* hotel. Lucknam Park’s Squire’s Cottage follows the opening of Keeper’s Cottage, which launched in 2018. The hotel plans will also introduce a further two cottages in 2020.
The team at H&C News would like to congratulate all at Lucknam Park on receiving a Reader’s Choice Award, always special especially from Condé Nast Traveller.
