TABHOTEL and AURES deliver new tailor-made digital kiosk solutions to the hospitality sector
Both partners have successfully deployed their latest self-check-in kiosks in a new generation of contemporary hotel establishments, in France and Switzerland.
A manufacturer of complete ranges of interactive kiosks, AURES Technologies designs and produces tailor-made and turnkey POS and kiosk equipment; thanks to the partnership with software specialist TABHOTEL, the first AURES kiosks developed for the hotel sector were deployed at “La Folie Douce” in Chamonix (a 250-room establishment which opened in December 2018), at Skylodge Hotel in Piau-Engaly near Lourdes (France) and M3 Hospitality in Ferney (near Geneva).
Further deployments are underway and will be finalised in the coming months.
“We design and supply the complete hardware for these terminals,” explains Patrick ROSA, Director of the KIOSK Division in AURES Technologies; “To make our offer a reality for decision-makers in the hospitality sector, we have teamed up with a specialist in hotel digitalisation, TABHOTEL.
“The traditional hotel industry is now challenged by a new generation of establishments that give pride of place to new technologies and digital technology,” says Salim GUILLOT TALEB, TABHOTEL’s Sales Director.
“User-friendly and stylish, these new “hostels” and “Boutique Hôtels” break codes and target a new clientele; ultra-connected and familiar with the web and self-service services available via kiosks and interactive digital signage, residents of these new locations perceive the advantages of not having to queue, for example, to make or modify a reservation or order, check-in and check-out, scan and check-in a passport, pay your bill, book a taxi or select leisure activities.
We are all very satisfied with the partnership established between our two companies over the past two years,” adds Franck GEIGER, KIOSK Key Account Sales Manager at AURES France, in charge of developing these various projects with TABHOTEL.
“The customised digital kiosks, reception tables and integrated furniture that we design and develop with TABHOTEL allow customers to carry out all their transactions on their own, 24 hours a day, seven days a week; they feel less assisted, more autonomous, less dependent on staff and have the feeling of saving precious time by avoiding queues at reception, especially at peak times”.
The KIOSK solutions that equip the above-mentioned establishments consist of modular boxes designed and developed to measure by AURES and TABHOTEL; their main functionalities are self-check-in and out and mobile and web concierge services; they also include optimised proposals for complementary services, combined with multiple digital signage applications.
Hi-tech, ergonomic and elegant, this digital kiosk equipment brings a very contemporary touch and blends perfectly into the atmosphere and style of these new chic hotels.
Combined with AURES SWING tablets, they provide reception staff with a permanent mobile solution to assist customers who want it, anytime, anywhere – and thus become true ambassadors for connected hotel services.

The advantages of the features offered by the TABHOTEL software suite
Connected to each hotel POS IT management solution, the TABHOTEL technological platform is configurable, secure and modular, to offer establishments tailor-made applications. It provides the following features:
- Automated customer reception desk solution available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Scripting solution for customer journey automation: Thanks to the interaction established between the various integrated peripherals (payment terminals, passport and identity document scanners, printers, QR code readers, RFID card encoders, webcams), the reception procedures (pre-check in, check in and check-out with payment functions, satisfaction questionnaires, walk-in reservations) are fully automated and allow data to be synchronized with the various access control means set up and available in the establishment or establishments concerned.
- Digital display and signage solution: The programming of screen or kiosk displays is managed according to recurrences, live, or according to a pre-established agenda; it can be centralised and/or decentralised, personalised, connected to web modules or management software or even integrate widgets (social media, traffic information, airport and station information, news, etc). Many hotel applications are included: seminars, catering or reception prices.
- Upsell, upgrade and walk-in solution: Proposing breakfast or a meal to customers at check-in, additional paid services (WI-FI, sports activities, Spa…), offering a room or products of a higher category than the initial choice, are options that generate additional sales that are highly appreciated by hoteliers. With the TABHOTEL complementary sales solution, the check-in kiosks become real salesmen!
About TABHOTEL – www.TABHOTEL.com
Created in 2013 by Fabrice GOUSSIN, its current CEO, TABHOTEL specialises in the digitalisation of the customer experience upon arrival and departure from the hotel. It offers users a better experience in the establishments as well as optimized offers of upsell services or room upgrades, both online and on connected equipment (information and check-in kiosks).
The TABHOTEL solution thus makes it possible to solve the problems of flow on arrival and departure, the availability of reception staff for customer relations, and the personalisation of each reception according to the data available on the customer.
With TABHOTEL’s “SaaS” technology, it is thus possible to create ultra-customized and omni-channel self-check-in/out, connected display and complementary sales applications for large establishments.
Robust, modular, secure and easily integrated, they can be adapted to all hotel projects and also to the needs of all other visitor reception environments, such as hospitals or administrations.
The TABHOTEL solution is therefore designed to enable hotels or establishments to innovate, improve productivity and increase customer satisfaction on arrival and departure.
In 2018, TABHOTEL won the FHT Hotel Award (first prize of the jury at the Paris Food Hotel Tech exhibition) and was awarded the “Influential Newness” label during the EquipHotel exhibition. In 2019, the company was selected through a competitive process to join the latest promotion of the Welcome City Lab, the world’s first innovation hub in tourism and hotel technology belonging to the Paris & Co network.
