By James Russell: Nobu Berkeley ST appoint new General Manager

June 27, 2019

Mayfair restaurant Nobu Berkeley ST has appointed Roberto Simic as General Manager to lead on all operations including business performance, events, staff development and reservations.

Roberto Simic, General Manager, Nobu Berkeley ST

Roberto’s 16-year Nobu career started at sister-restaurant Nobu London in 1999. He rejoined Nobu after gaining valuable experience in other businesses to be part of the opening team for Nobu Berkeley ST overseeing reservations and events.

Most recently, Roberto was Assistant General Manager of Nobu Berkeley ST and was integral in merging the events teams at both Nobu London and Nobu Berkeley ST.

Roberto comments: “After 16 years at Nobu, I am delighted to be General Manager and am immensely proud to work with such a prestigious team including Nobu san himself. I look forward to taking Nobu Berkeley ST into its next phase, growing our clientele and internal teams while maintaining that same inimitable style and attention to detail for which Nobu is known for.”

With over 30 years of hospitality experience, Roberto’s past career highlights include the Royal Opera House and on the QE2, the quintessentially British transatlantic cruise liner.
