BaxterStorey and Pearson Business School launch a new degree apprenticeship scheme

BaxterStorey has partnered with Pearson Business School to launch a new degree apprenticeship scheme.

BaxterStorey employs more than 8,500 people at over 700 locations and their heritage is built on the culinary expertise, professional training and development of people.

From Chef’s, Baristas and Service Academies, BaxterStorey provide focused and dedicated training to front-line teams, helping them to provide great service and build a career for life.

This unique opportunity offers six proactive and ambitious students the chance to learn and earn at one of the highest rated and largest independent hospitality providers in the UK.

BaxterStorey’s operations span four countries, including England, Ireland, Scotland and The Netherlands. This three-year Degree Apprenticeship is designed to give student-apprentices the experience of working for a leader in the hospitality sector, whilst studying for an Honours Degree at the same time.

Student-apprentices will be paid a salary of at least £18,000 per annum increasing to £22,000 – £24,000 after 3 years, with time off for study.

Students will begin working in September 2019 and their degree will start in January 2020. They’ll also graduate debt-free, as their tuition fees will be paid for by BaxterStorey.

Based at one of the Group’s prestigious client locations, participants will complete a three year Business Management Degree and build up their network of professional contacts at the same time.

Over 50% of study time will be dedicated to focusing on BaxterStorey, demonstrating how the degree apprenticeship route is beneficial for both the apprentice and the employer.
