Silverstone Circuits Ltd has announced that Head Chef, Dean Hoddle will take most of his experienced team and selected local catering students to take over the Camm & Hooper venue, Tanner Warehouse, in Bermondsey on Monday 29th April, as part of London Kitchen Social Live.

The team will showcase some of Silverstone Circuit’s finest dishes to a room of 100 guests, serving a selection of canapes and a four-course tasting menu, including vegan options. Each chef will prepare a course in front of the live audience, which is set to include journalists from The Caterer and local London radio station, explaining the cookery, methods and equipment used to create each course.

Debra Ward, Managing Director at Tanner Warehouse commented, “We’re pleased to be hosting the first London Kitchen Social Live event for 2019. We believe it’s an important movement, inspiring chefs, front-of-house teams and experimental amateur cooks across London, and the surrounding areas. Silverstone Circuits is known for its delicious menus and I can’t wait to see what the team has in store.”

Majella O’Connell, Founder, London Kitchen Social, said, “We’re excited to announce the first take over at Tanner Warehouse with Silverstone Circuits. The chefs at Silverstone consistently produce exceptional dishes and it will be fascinating watching them first-hand as they explain their methods. These are chefs that work to provide over 15,000 covers during the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend, while ensuring that every dish taste and looks incredible, so I can’t wait to see what they can produce for 100 guests.”

A selection of Silverstone Circuits’ and Pavlova & Cream’s, the company behind London Kitchen Social, local partners will be providing outstanding ingredients, such as; Speciality Breads, a bakery specialising in vegan bread; local award-winning cheeses from Hamm Tun Fine Foods; seafood from Seahawk LTD; QSM-standard beef and lamb, fresh fruit and vegetables from Smith & Brock; and bespoke chocolates by David Frear

Tickets cost £75pp and include; live educational sessions, a four-course meal, a selection of canapes and a champagne reception.
