Sudeep Majumdar has now been appointed General Manager of Thistle Express Swindon, in addition to his existing role as General Manager at Thistle Express Luton.
Last year, Sudeep was directly involved in the successful opening of both Thistle Express properties, and with nearly 20 years of hospitality experience, he is very well positioned to take on this new role and achieve high standards across this exciting new brand.
Forming one of the five brands that sit within the glh Hotels group, Thistle Express is aimed at the savvy, value-conscious, modern traveller. It’s hotels offer fast, free Wi-Fi, bottomless tea and coffee and free buffet breakfast for all guests. Guests will find Smart TVs in every bedroom, along with blackout curtains and Hypnos mattresses for a good night’s sleep. With no need to check out, Thistle Express is turning the traditional hotel experience on its head.
In addition to ensuring that both properties are running seamlessly, Sudeep is dedicated to ensuring both hotel guests and his team are satisfied. His key objectives for the brand include building relationships with local businesses and communities and he balances his roles across both the hotels by focussing on team development and empowering his staff.
