CenturyLink, Lenovo and Kier have all appointed workplace caterer Dayer’s as their accredited and exclusive catering supplier, expanding the Dyer’s client portfolio in both Hampshire and Berkshire.
CenturyLink is an international telecommunications company and a leader in cloud infrastructure and IT solutions. It has two offices based in Wokingham with a total of around 350 employees. Both locations have a staff restaurant, coffee bar and event spaces that will all be catered for.
Kier Group, a leading property construction and services group and Lenovo, a multinational technology company soon followed suit, approving Dayer’s as an exclusive catering partner in their Basingstoke offices.
Dayer’s will engage with local and regional suppliers, to provide locally sourced produce straight to the on-site kitchen teams across the organisations. Food provenance and sustainability are high priority for Dayer’s as workplace catering is becoming increasingly driven by the desire for a more positive and productive lifestyle. They will provide both hot and cold food services to all sites, covering breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea as well as event hospitality and freshly brewed coffee served throughout the day.
Antony Briers, Director of Procurement at CenturyLink, said:
“Having a reliable source of great food that keeps our employees happy and healthy is paramount to our workplace ethos. Therefore, we are delighted to expand our partnership with Dayer’s across two additional sites and are confident Dayer’s will deliver exactly what we are after.”
Dayer’s Managing Partner, Dawn Wright, commented:
“We are thrilled to have extended our relationship with CenturyLink and as we take on the two new sites in Berkshire. Our approach of listening and understanding our clients is crucial to us before developing tailor-made healthy food concepts for the workplace and this will continue at the new CenturyLink sites, as well as Lenovo and Kier who have just come on board. We also understand the clients need for a high level of safety and hygiene and have always aspired to deliver to the highest standards.
“Every employee should feel happy and energised throughout the day. Food is much more than fuel for the day, it’s a lifestyle and I’m proud we are able to do what we can to improve the lives of others.”
