Atalian Servest Food Co. secures over £21m worth of new business in first half of year

By James Russell: Atalian Servest Food Co. secures over £21m worth of new business in first half of year

September 13, 2018

Atalian Servest’s specialist catering division successfully secured more than £21m in new business in the nine-month period running up to the end of its financial year, at the end of June 2018. The pioneering company, which truly understands what its customers need in their food offering, launched its new business and industry catering brand ‘Angel Hill Food Co.’ and signature coffee brand ‘Groundhouse’ at the end of 2016. By launching these exciting new brands, Atalian Servest has been able to capitalise on the fact that a great deal of customers can be swayed by their extensive catering knowledge and bespoke offering, for both stand-alone and total FM tenders.

In Q4 of 2016, the acquisition of Catering Academy, an independent catering company that operates nationally, began working with a significant number of customers in the education and healthcare sectors. This acquisition has allowed the division to expand and develop its presence in both sectors and continue to develop fruitful partnerships in a variety of target markets.

New contracts have been signed across a range of sectors, including: energy, government, defence, healthcare and retail. In May of this year, Servest formally merged with global facilities management company Atalian to form the one of the world’s largest FM outsourcing companies. The global service provider has developed a solid reputation for its acquisitive nature and has positively progressed as a result of its extensive growth before and since the merger.

Tony Winterbottom, business director for Atalian Servest Food Co. has said: “There has been a very strong integration of the Catering Academy brand into the wider business. Our successes this year have undoubtedly been down to the strength of our bespoke brands: Angel Hill, Groundhouse and Catering Academy and, of course, our incredibly passionate and skilled team of experts.”

Henry Watts, divisional managing director of Atalian Servest Food Co. has said “We have had such an impressive year of growth and retention within catering. Our ongoing achievements in this division are down to the team’s passion, knowledge of sectors and relationships with customers. I’m delighted to see such healthy growth and development.”
