Last night in Ascot’s Parade Ring restaurant a team of three chefs has won the Sodexo culinary team challenge for their dessert course served to more than a hundred diners.
A treacle tart with ice cream and custard was created by Andy Voice from Independents by Sodexo, Gary Periti from Sodexo Education and Luke Townley from Sodexo Corporate Services was the winning dish. The competition saw chefs prepare a five-course meal.
Employees from across Sodexo made up two front of house teams serving Sodexo clients and partners the dinner.
The winning chef and front of house teams were awarded their trophy by Sodexo ambassador Matt Dawson and Sodexo UK & Ireland chair Sean Haley.
