Apex Hotels’ employees across the UK have been celebrating after collecting top gongs at a glitzy black tie awards ceremony in Edinburgh.
The annual company awards night celebrates the best hotels and employees, and recognises long service across its 10-strong UK portfolio.
The Annual Awards Dinner, which took place at Dynamic Earth earlier this month, saw 23 employees receive an Employee of the Year or Runner Up or award. Meanwhile 20 employees were recognised for their dedication after racking up a collective 250 years’ service.
They have each worked for the family-run company for ten, fifteen or twenty years.
The biggest accolade of the night was Hotel of the Year, with the coveted accolade going to Apex City of Glasgow on Bath Street – a major achievement for the Scottish team.
The awards were presented to employees from the hotels, laundry services and Apex’s head office by Simon Davis, Group Operations Director.
Angela Vickers, CEO of Apex Hotels, said: “It is incredibly important to recognise all of the hard work and effort that each team member brings to their job. Our people are instrumental in our success and I would like to thank them for their contribution.

Apex Hotel’s portfolio comprises hotels in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Bath -which has just celebrated its first year of business.
The family-run, four star, contemporary hotel group now employs more than 1,000 (FTE) staff.
