The Country Range Group has become the first wholesaler to sign up to Hospitality Action’s Employee Assistance Programme.
Hospitality Action has been assisting people in the hospitality industry since 1837, providing help and support to those who work or have worked in the industry, when they are in need.
With over 180 years of experience, supporting the people working throughout the hospitality industry’s vast tentacles, Hospitality Action is uniquely placed to understand the things that affect the industry’s people the most.
The Hospitality Action Employee Assistance Programme has been developed by hospitality people for hospitality people and now supports over 100,000 people.
Via the programme, staff working for the Country Range Group and its 12 wholesalers, will now be able to access crucial, totally confidential help, support, advice and resources when they are facing difficulties in their home and working life.
Aiming to provide another dimension and level of help, the EAP scheme will be live within the Group as of 1st August and is available to all staff in addition to usual company procedures and processes.
The Hospitality Action EAP will provide the following:
- Staff can receive support 24 hours a day; 365 days a year via the Well Online portal – hospitalityaction.well-online.co.uk, where they can access help and assistance sheets, self-help guides and signposting all designed to help turn the negatives of life into positives.
- Information on a wide range of topics such as improving health and wellbeing, dealing with financial pressures, managing working life, helping to overcome personal challenges, dealing with alcohol or drug issues and legal Issues
- The Assistance Line – provides expert advice and is free for the user, confidential and independent. This can be accessed by email, by live chat or by telephone plus an interpreter service is available if the persons first language is not English.
- Additional Help – such as counselling (by phone, online or face-to-face), legal advice, help with financial worries and debt counselling, parenting advice, dealing with drug and alcohol issues and grant assistance.
