X Factor winner and stage show celebrity Alexandra Burke is set to headline the entertainment at this year’s Casual Dining Group (CDG) Charity Gala Dinner on Monday 8 October 2018, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, in support of The Prince’s Trust.

The CDG charity dinner will see the hospitality sector come together at the newly refurbished hotel to enjoy an evening of entertainment hosted by Gyles Brandreth, with all proceeds going to charity.

This year’s Charity Gala Dinner returns, following last year’s successful inaugural event that raised the fantastic sum of £60,000 through tickets sales, donations, goodie bags and silent auction items, such as a holiday to the Maldives, signed memorabilia and a restaurant safari.

Steve Richards, CEO, Casual Dining Group, commented: “We’re delighted to build on the success of last year’s event and come together once more to raise money for such a great charity.

“We’re committed to promoting the hospitality industry as a viable career path for younger generations and partnering with charities like The Princes Trust, who deal with issues of youth unemployment daily, is just one way in which we can help achieve this.

“Last year’s sell out event highlighted our industry is unique in its ability to get together with colleagues, friends and associates to have fun and raise money for a worthwhile cause. We are looking forward to this year’s event being even bigger and even better and with Alexandra Burke performing it is going to be a night to remember. We look forward to seeing last year’s fundraising target beaten.”

Since His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales founded the charity in 1976, The Prince’s Trust has returned £1.4 billion in value to society through its help for disadvantaged young people over the last 10 years alone.
