Discover Long Island is pleased to welcome the latest property to open on Long Island, the Journey Hotel.
Journey East Hampton opened on 7 June to welcome guests from the Hamptons and beyond.
Located just 20 minutes outside of Montauk, the travel-inspired living spaces transform the quaint village into a modern hideaway. Crafted with art and aesthetic in mind, the spaces contain pieces influenced by Italy’s Amalfi Coast and Los Angeles’s Chateau Marmont.
The hotel includes 22 rooms and private cottages with hand-selected elements that highlight the relaxed yet elegant ambiance. While the living spaces mock a traditional Hampton’s neighbourhood, with a navy and white colour palette, the hotel contains many unique aspects for guests to explore during their stay.
CEO of Bridgeton Holdings, Atit Jariwala, said “Our whole mission is to be very experiential, defined by what the guest wants. It’s very bespoke. If a family wants a day at the beach, we’ll pack bikes for them to ride out there, and then pick them up when they’re tired.”
Journey’s many amenities and eco-luxe style are designed to meet every guest’s needs. The guest experiences begin in the lobby, filled with abstract art, earthy colours and natural wood tones and all visitors are encouraged to feel at home and at ease from the moment they step through the doors.
Outside, guests can enjoy everything from yoga to cornhole and bocce balls to pool floats thus making the grounds the perfect setting for whatever they choose to do.
