Hollywood Bowl Group, one of the UK’s leading leisure operators, has completed its fourth investment project of 2018 with the £300,000 rebrand and redevelopment of the former AMF Bowling on Sturrock Way, Peterborough.
Steve Burns, CEO, Hollywood Bowl Group said: “Our investment programme continues to go from strength to strength with the refurbishment and rebranding of our Peterborough centre, which offers customers a fully immersive entertainment experience in a premium environment.
“Bowling is changing and as the UK’s number one bowling operator, we’re proud to be leading the way. The transformation of this AMF Bowling into a Hollywood Bowl is our fourth major investment this year, and demonstrates our commitment to creating new generation entertainment centres.”
The 20 lane centre in Peterborough has been fully re-designed and now features plush new furnishings, contemporary American décor and upgraded music and lighting technology.
With a brand-new Hollywood Diner, the company is placing extra focus on its food and drink offering. Gourmet burgers, hotdogs, freshly made shakes served in retro milk bottles and signature desserts now feature on the newly-developed menu, as well as speciality house cocktails served from a new American-style bar.
In addition, the centre’s amusement area has been completely overhauled and now boasts industry-leading games such as Jurassic Park, Grand Piano and retro games like Space Invaders, Crossy Roads, and Cranes.
