A 120 sq. metre conservatory, with stunning views of the Firth of Clyde and the island of Arran, has been opened at Malin Court, the long established hotel and nursing home which sits adjacent to Turnberry Golf course on the panoramic south Ayrshire coast. The new structure is designed to enhance Malin Court’s appeal as a destination venue for both hotel guests and visitors.

Officially opened by Mr John Dalrymple Hamilton, Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran who has long family connections with Malin Court, the new structure is to be called The Boyd Lounge, after Boyd Tunnock CBE, the current Chairman of Malin Court and a great supporter over many years.

Joan Dunlop, Malin Court’s General Manager, said “It is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea. We also think the new conservatory creates a magnificent space for weddings, anniversary parties and all kinds of functions”
