Bartlett Mitchell, one of the UK’s leading independent caterers, has strengthened its marketing team with two key appointments to support its continued growth.
Michaela Mulvey has joined the business as designer. An experienced designer and marketer who has previously developed a high street retail juice brand, Mulvey will be responsible for designing point of sale and merchandising in her new role.
Meanwhile Lauren Gillon, who is experienced in developing brand identity, packaging and digital advertising, has been appointed as brand designer. Gillon will be responsible for creating and activating Bartlett Mitchell’s new brands and concepts in her new role.
The addition of new personnel comes as Bartlett Mitchell seeks to capitalise and expand on an ongoing period of business growth. Last year, the company reported that annual turnover had reached £39m, marking the seventh consecutive year of annual growth of more than 10%.
Bartlett Mitchell has strengthened and invested in its marketing function in order to develop new brands and support site managers with digital and traditional customer communications to drive sales.
Lin Dickens, marketing director at Bartlett Mitchell, said: “We are delighted to welcome Michaela and Lauren to the Bartlett Mitchell family. Both of them will play a crucial role in helping us to continue building on the fantastic work we do across so many parts of our business. We are seeing more customers and clients look to us for creative and innovative concepts as part of our everyday offer and these appointments will help us build on the successes we’ve already achieved.”
Mulvey and Gillon will report directly to Emma Sison, senior marketing designer at Bartlett Mitchell.
Mulvey said: “I love the work that the Bartlett Mitchell marketing team does and it’s a great opportunity to join this vibrant team and be part of the BM family.”
Gillon added: “Bartlett Mitchell is having a tremendous impact on the sector and I am excited to be joining such an innovative team.”
