The Arora Group (“Arora” or the “Group”) announces the appointment of James Helliwell as General Counsel, effective as of 25 June 2018.
Mr Helliwell joins Arora from Tate & Lyle Sugars (part of the ASR Group), where he was a Senior member of the Legal team, with responsibility for legal matters across the European business. Prior to Tate & Lyle Sugars, he worked in the City, primarily in Finance and Restructuring roles, including at Salans LLP, now part of Dentons LLP.
The appointment comes at an important time for the Group, as it continues to enhance its portfolio of flagship hotels and assets across the UK, as well as progressing with its proposals for delivering the approved expansion of Heathrow Airport via a more efficient approach, introducing competition, to benefit both passengers and airlines at the airport.
