On Saturday 21st July, The Savoy’s American Bar won three significant prizes at the 12th Annual Spirited Awards at Tales of The Cocktail, New Orleans 2018; Best International Bar Team, Best International Hotel Bar, and the Award’s most prestigious prize, World’s Best Bar.
Winning at the highly regarded Tales of The Cocktail is the perfect addition to what has been an exciting past year for the world renowned American Bar, following the launch of its new cocktail menu, ‘Every Moment Tells A Story’, the appointment of new Head Bartender, Maxim Schulte, and being awarded World’s Best Bar at World’s 50 Best 2017.
Widely regarded as the world’s premier cocktail festival, Tales of the Cocktail brings the most influential bartenders and spirit lovers from around the globe to New Orleans for five days of mixology-themed celebration. Tales of the Cocktail was hosted in New Orleans from July 17th to 22nd, 2018, and the Spirited Awards took place on July 21st, 2018. The Spirited Awards recognizes both national and international honourees across 25 categories. The nominees were selected from hundreds by an American and International judging committee comprising the most respected minds in the cocktail industry.
