Contemporary French-Mediterranean restaurant Bagatelle opens its stylish doors in the heart of Mayfair this month. The restaurant, situated on the renowned Dover Street is proud to announce the appointment of Dale Osborne as its Executive Chef.

With twenty-two years of experience working at soe of the most desired restaurants, with the most renowned chefs in the world, Osborne is an expert when it comes to gastronomy. He has worked for some of the most influential culinary establishments such as, Michelin-starred Orrery, The Wolseley, St Alban, HIX Soho, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Chiltern Firehouse and most recently Aqua Shard.

Priding himself with the undeniably strong relationships he holds with local suppliers, Osborne’s dishes will evolve with the seasons, remaining fresh and light throughout the year. Expect to eat vibrant and refined Mediterranean food with influences from classical French cuisine, complementing Bistrot Bagatelle signature dishes such as the Tartare de Thon Bagatelle, a yellow fin tuna tartare with bruinoise-cut avocado, lime and soy vinaigrette finished with taro crisps. Adding to the classics Osborne showcases the finest cuts of meat by cooking the Steak T-Bone au feu de bois over an open charcoal grill, served alongside hasselback potatoes, vine tomatoes and with freshly made béarnaise sauce.

The new restaurant will bring a new and sophisticated destination to the area combining modern fine dining and exceptional atmosphere. The venue will sprawl across two floors with 120 covers for fine dining upstairs and an intimate downstairs lounge; a perfect after-hours drinking destination.

Dale Osborne, Executive Chef said, “After being classically trained in the south of France and visiting family in Spain and Italy each year, I have a huge passion for the cuisine of the Mediterranean and so working for Bagatelle gives me a chance to embrace the amazing produce and dishes of the region”

Having first opened in New York in 2008, the international restaurant group now runs 11 hotspots across the globe, including sites in Miami Beach, Los Angeles, St. Tropez, Sao Paulo, Dubai and Ibiza each of which breathes the brand ethos – joie de vivre. This ‘raison d’etre’ resonates loudly amongst the global dining scene, targeting the world’s jet-setters, trend makers and food connoisseurs in particular.
