The Finalists for UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year have now been announced.
The teams are Colette’s at The Grove Hotel , Kendal College , Fischer’s & Rowley’s , Loughborough College and North Warwickshire and Hinckley College.
David McKown , Director of the competition commented “after two highly contested semi finals held at Leeds City College and Central Bedfordshire College , the judges were left with difficult decisions , and we have an exciting final in store”.
Andrew Bennet MBE , Chair of Judges said “ we had some exceptional dishes and great front of house service , the five teams selected are worthy of inclusion in the Grand Final of this prestigious competition”.
The Final will take place on 4th July at the 21st Skills for Chefs Conference and the winners will be announced at a Gala Awards Dinner the following night. The winners will embark on a Study Trip to Colombia courtesy of MSK Ingredients and Casa Luker , an amazing opportunity to explore Cocoa Farms , Coffee Plantations and Latin American Restaurants.
