A leading Perthshire hotel has enhanced its offering to guests with a significant investment in connectivity, fixtures and furnishings.
Macdonald Loch Rannoch Hotel has invested nearly £20,000 to upgrade the hotel’s WiFi and broadband in all public areas, including its Ptarmigan Restaurant and Schiehallion Bar.
This latest outlay has also seen the hotel further improve its 46 guestrooms with new beds and soft furnishings.
Marc Adams, general manager at Macdonald Loch Rannoch Hotel, said: “This latest investment, while retaining the original charm of the hotel, has been intentionally made over the traditionally quieter winter months to allow us to hit the ground running with the return of warmer weather.
“I’m sure the improvements we’ve made will enhance our customers’ enjoyment of the hotel and, particularly as a rural location, ensure guests can remain connected to the wider world while they relax in a stunning setting.”
Built in the 19th century, the Macdonald Loch Rannoch Hotel is a former shooting lodge that lies in a tranquil location on the north shore of Loch Rannoch; enjoying unrivalled views over the surrounding breath-taking scenery including nearby Munro, Schiehallion.
The hotel offers tempting menus packed with the freshest ingredients, expertly prepared and served. Meanwhile, the on-site leisure club featuring a swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym provides the ideal way to unwind.
With its comfortable bedrooms and superb service, the Macdonald Loch Rannoch Hotel is a perfect Highland retreat which is located just 30 minutes from Pitlochry and less than an hour from Perth.
