The teams working across Buzzworks Holdings’ ten venues have been scored for various factors including sales, customer service and cleanliness in a bid to win cash – but it is charities that are set to benefit.
The pro-social bonus at Buzzworks is a unique quarterly scheme which sees the top four performing venues of each quarter winning a share of £1,000 to gift to any registered charity of their choice.
The hospitality group, recently named as one of The Sunday Times Best Companies to work for 2018, launched this pioneering initiative last year to provide a boost to local causes and charities.
Second Place – The Tree House – Gavin, Elaine, StuartThe latest winners have been crowed for this quarter which includes Lido Troon, The Tree House, The Corner House and The Long House.
Lido Troon came out on top this quarter winning £500 for its chosen charity Alzheimer Scotland – which has benefited from a total £2,000 in donations since the pro-social bonus scheme launched. The Tree House in Ayr came second and donated its winning £250 to #BUYMSH Appeal which will support fundraising for Malcom Sargent House in Prestwick.
Third place – The Corner House – Seth, Lauren and DouglasThird place was awarded to The Corner House in Kilwinning who picked Bliss, a charity supporting babies born premature or sick, to gift its £150. Lastly The Long House in Kilmarnock donated its £100 bonus to Ayrshire Cancer Support.

Fourth place – The Long House – Graeme and Alex“Our three nominated charities for the year are Ayrshire Hospice, Cancer Research and Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity but our pro-social bonus is in addition to this, supporting causes large and small across Scotland.
