The teams selected for the Semi Finals of the 7th Annual UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year have now been announced.
David McKown , Director of the Competition commented , “the quality of the entries this year demonstrate that the competition is capturing the imagination of the industry and education”. The theme this year is Latin American Cuisine and the guest judge for the Grand Final is Robert Ortiz from Lima , London. The overall winners will visit Colombia with sponsors MSK ingredients.
The Semi Finalists who will compete across two heats at Central Bedfordshire College and Leeds City College on 2 & 3 May are Collettes Restaurant at The Grove Hotel , Eastleigh College , Basingstoke College , Fischer’s, Loughborough College , Eagle and Child , Kendal College , Central Bedfordshire College , Penwith College and North Warwickshire & Hinkley College.
