It’s business as usual for D&D’s London restaurants as intrepid diners keep calm and carry on

By James Russell: It’s business as usual for D&D’s London restaurants as intrepid diners keep calm and carry on

March 2, 2018

The rest of the country may be battling snowstorms and sub-zero temperatures but London’s restaurants are keeping calm and carrying on as intrepid Londoners defy the widespread doom-laden media reports to continue to eat out – and are being rewarded for it.  Many of the capital’s restaurants and bars, spurred on by crucial support from regulars are offering incentives ranging from a glass of fizz to cut price menus in a bid to keep Londoners warm this weekend and support the city’s thriving restaurant industry.

D&D London which operate over 30 restaurants in the UK – many of these in London – and employs over 2000 staff, are currently rewarding Londoners who are braving the conditions with reduced price set menus and complimentary warming winter cocktails across their celebrated restaurants which include Sartoria, Launceston Place and Le Pont de la Tour.

Chairman and CEO of D&D, Des Gunewardena says, “whilst there’s no denying the extreme weather the country is experiencing, we need to be careful not to blow the beast too out of proportion. It’s still very much business as usual for London’s restaurants and theatres”
