The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation has awarded The Springboard Charity a grant of £150,000, over the course of three years, to support the salaries of two new Programme Managers for the organisation’s ‘Hospitality Futures in London’ programme.
Ann Cooley, Senior Partner at St. James’s Place Wealth Management, presented a cheque to the charity leaders Anne Pierce MBE, CEO and Stephen Moss CBE, Chairman at Springboard’s prestigious Annual VIP Dinner at The Dorchester Hotel on Tuesday 23rd January.
Hospitality Futures in London provides disadvantaged young people with five weeks of employability and personal skills training, two weeks in a work placement with one of Springboard’s employer partners, and six months’ aftercare support. The award will enable 42 individuals annually to participate in the programme.
Springboard CEO, Anne Pierce, said, “Springboard is delighted to be partnering with the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation to significantly grow the reach of the Hospitality Futures programme and enable more young people achieve their potential in the industry.”
