The Albert Inn, a local community pub in the Welsh town of Caernarfon will throw open its doors this week. The pub reopens following a joint investment of £140,000 between leading community pub company Admiral Taverns and mother and daughter partnership Elsa Roberts-Jones and Shannon Roberts-Simpson.
Having undergone a transformational refurbishment, the pub will host its official launch party on Friday the 9th February at 8pm. Over the course of the evening they will have a disco to give the pub a real party atmosphere that the pub is already well known for.
Experienced licensees Elsa and Shannon have been running pubs themselves for many years and took on the Albert Inn 2 years ago. Local to the area, they have reestablished this pub as a popular social hub, home to local pool and darts teams and offering regular sports showings and live entertainment at the weekends.
The mother and daughter team have revitalised the pubs interior, creating an upbeat and exciting venue for the locals with plans to introduce a delicious new food menu in March to co-inside with the start of the busy tourist season in Caernarfon. This which will include traditional pub classics such homemade burgers, curry, lasagna, fish and chips and daily specials of Welsh delicacies Lob Sgows and Cottage Pie.
