LSO St Luke’s, the Grade I listed unique venue located on London’s Old Street is celebrating a year of achievements, including its most successful November to date.
Conferences and standing receptions were the most popular formats of 2017; the venue welcomed 8,500 attendees throughout the year and hosted 51 corporate events in total.
November was busier than anticipated, seeing an increase in events of 19%, which lead into a similarly busy Christmas run with an increase of over 600 covers compared to the same period last year.
Corporate clients hosted during the year include the BBC, The Guardian, ASOS, TED, Trainline, Decca Records, Accenture, Leigh Day and Information Is Beautiful. The venue was also chosen to host this year’s illustrious ECHO Rising Stars series which promotes the professional development of the next generation of classical musicians, as well as several charitable causes, including Save the Rhinos.
Located in the cultural mile of Old Street between silicon roundabout and the city, the venue attracts a varied selection of clients from across the insurance, law, interior design, investment management, consumer advice, retail and entertainment sectors.
Christopher Cashman, Sales & Events Manager at LSO St Luke’s commented, “At the end of a busy year, we are delighted to have recorded our best ever November! The growth of corporate events means that we are able to continue our mission to help deliver and support the London Symphony Orchestra’s music education work and to ensure that LSO St Luke’s remains at the heart of the community in which we work.”
