Ray Goertz has been appointed General Manager of the five-star boutique hotel, The Arch London in Marylebone.
Ray has vast experience in the hospitality industry after starting out in Birnam Business College Hotel School in Johannesburg, South Africa. He moved to London in 2004 and worked his way up from Reception Supervisor to General Manager over an 11-year period.
He has opened four hotels in London, including ME London and M by Montcalm, plus has worked at The Ritz as Revenue Manger and was crucial in the de-flagging of Four Seasons Canary Wharf to become the independent hotel, Canary Riverside Plaza.
Most recently, Ray was General Manager at the Courthouse Hotel in Shoreditch.
Ray boasts an exceptional CV having worked in these renowned hotels and brings his passion and wealth of knowledge and expertise to The Arch London.
