Luxury Lake District hotel, the Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa, has unvieled a collection of new suites following a £250,000 investment.
The project, which was completed by the stunning four-star hotel in November, saw four suites and six executive bedrooms undergo a luxury transformation.
Each of the rennovated suites enjoys breathkaing views of England’s largest lake, Lake Windermere, with large windows located in both the bedroom and living areas. The spacious suites all feature king-size double beds, fitted with a mico-fibre mattress and three-foot long pillows, ensuring each and every guest leaves feeling refreshed after a deep night’s sleep.
The interiors have been selected to exude a regal finish, with golds and purples throughout. The furnitutre, including all cabinets and table, were sourced from prominent UK suppliers by Macdonald Hotels’s in-house design team.
From the moment they check in, guests staying in the suites will be able to indulge, receiving a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival. Fresh flowers will be placed in the room each morning, and guests can also make use of the in-room Nespresso coffee machine and Arran Aromatics toiletries.
In addition to the four sensational suites, a further six of the exceutive bedrooms have benefitted from a refurbishment. Each of spacious rooms have been fitted with new furnishings including stylish double beds, cabinets and bathrooms.
