Park Regis has renewed its agreement with the world-renowned City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) to continue as its exclusive hotel partner.
The hotel, which is based on Broad Street, has signed a second consecutive 12-month partnership that will see it providing valuable support to the CBSO, such as hosting corporate and pre-concert events, and offering hotel clients opportunities to enjoy the CBSO at Symphony Hall, Birmingham.
Rebecca Delmore, Group Sales Director at Park Regis Birmingham, said: “We are delighted to renew our partnership with one of the world’s greatest orchestras, which builds on our relationship developed over the last year.
“The CBSO’s home is just a short walk from Park Regis and together we share a passion for showcasing Birmingham as a global city. We are committed to providing this support for such a prestigious institution at a time when funding cuts continue to affect cultural organisations.”
Stephen Maddock OBE, CBSO Chief Executive, said: “We are very pleased to continue our partnership with Park Regis after a successful first year. Having the backing of local organisations is absolutely vital and we’re very fortunate to have a strong base of support in the region.”
Park Regis is proudly sponsoring CBSO’s Christmas at the Movies concert on Friday 22nd December at Symphony Hall, featuring a stocking full of music from the best-loved festive films – from timeless classics like It’s A Wonderful Life, Miracle On 34th Street and White Christmas to new family favourites such as Home Alone, The Polar Express and Elf.
Ticket prices start from £13 and can be purchased online at: cbso.co.uk/event/christmas-at-the-movies.
What’s more, to celebrate the ongoing partnership, Park Regis and CBSO are running a Facebook competition offering the chance to win an overnight stay for two, plus two tickets to Christmas at the Movies with pre-concert and interval drinks!*
