Liran Wizman, founder and owner of Europe Hotels Private Collection (EHPC) has been awarded the Hospitality & Style Award for 2017 from Entree Magazine. The award is the most coveted of the Entree Magazine Awards and goes to the boldest entrepreneur who made a significant mark on Dutch hospitality in the past year.
Recognised for his key role in pioneering design-led hospitality enterprises, and creating tailored and memorable experiences, Wizman began his career in real estate, and has now become an established hotel and F&B entrepreneur. At 41 Wizman is already an impressive and experienced hotelier with over 65 properties and 15,500 rooms. He founded three original brands and collaborates with celebrated hoteliers, designers and brands including Starwood and Ian Schrager.
His journey began in 2006 with the transformation of Park Hotel Amsterdam into one of the first boutique hotels in the Netherlands. Since then he went on to establish EHPC in 2011, and now the company’s portfolio includes the W Amsterdam, The EDITION Milan (2019) and three successful original brands- Park Hotel, Max Brown and Sir Hotels. This year has been the most prolific year to date for the lifestyle hospitality brand, with the opening of three new Sir Hotels in Amsterdam, Hamburg and Ibiza, four restaurants and a nightclub with co-owned food and beverage partner, THE ENTOURAGE GROUP. The newly opened night club located in W Amsterdam, MAD FOX, also won the Best Night Club category at the Entree Awards. With his eye for innovation and authenticity, Wizman is a master at rebranding and redeveloping hospitality venues, giving them new life by creating a unique experience for each location, and bringing his vision to the European hospitality world.
