This December, Les 110 de Taillevent London is delighted to be launching a menu that’s guaranteed to offer the ultimate luxurious experience, providing the perfect alternative to a traditional Turkey offering with their indulgent Perigord Truffle Menu, available from Monday 4th December until 31st December 2017.
The decadent new menu, which has been created by Head Chef Raphael Grima, has been perfectly paired with a selection of wines and can be enjoyed in the idyllic surroundings of the Marylebone restaurant, ensuring the ultimate gastronomic experience. Guests can enjoy the exclusive six-course tasting menu, containing the real star ingredient of the season, Perigord Truffles – known for being one of the most expensive edible mushrooms in the world.
Truffles are often regarded as the ultimate culinary indulgence, and are seen as a delicacy across the world; the Perigord in particular is referred to as the ‘French Black Truffle’ and are a species of truffle native to the South West Region of France. Les 110 de Taillevent will be bringing a taste of this French delicacy to London for the duration of December with dishes including the Jerusalem artichoke velouté with chestnuts and hazelnuts; Scrambled eggs with truffle shavings; Wild turbot with celeriac and truffle fish sauce; Truffle yellow chicken with savoy cabbage, guitarra pasta and suprême sauce and the last savoury option for guests will be a delectable Truffled brie with green salad and apple. For those looking to indulge their sweet tooth there will also be a Truffle chocolate with infused truffle chantilly, caramel sauce and cocoa sorbet available as the final dish of the decadent six course tasting menu. Each item on the Truffle Menu will also be available on the A La Carte Menu; giving guests the option to sample their favourite truffle dish alongside a selection of other seasonal French dishes.
Dining guests can also enhance their culinary experience by adding the Truffle Wine Pairing Decouverte, or the Truffle Wine Pairing Prestige. Once guests have chosen their wine pairing option, Christopher Lecoufle and his team of expert sommeliers will create a bespoke wine pairing for each dining guest dependent on their individual taste and preference.
Les 110 de Taillevent continues to revolutionise the world of wine pairing, dominating the industry with an impressive 1,100 wine references as part of their extensive selection of fine wines. Head Sommelier Christopher Lecoufle and Head Chef Raphael Grima continue to combine their expertise to ensure each dish is executed with precision and that the flavours complement and enhance the qualities of the wines on offer.
