Rosa’s Thai Cafe, are excited to announce the launch of their first ever vegetarian-only restaurant Rosa’s Thai Veggie in January 2018. Opening on 15 January it will replace the busy Rosa’s Thai Cafe Soho site on Dean Street and run for a period of three months.
The menu will feature some dishes entirely new to the Rosa’s menu including Tofu Satay, Laab Mushrooms, Panang Tofu and Tom Kha Mushroom Soup. These will sit alongside vegetarian versions of classics like Thai Green Curry and Pad Thai, and existing favourites already on the Rosa’s menus including Papaya Salad and Stir Fried Aubergine (currently available at each of the 10 sites).
The vegetarian takeover is a response to the huge uplift and demand for vegetarian dishes across the group. Saiphin Moore on creating this exclusive menu: “I’m really excited to offer my customers a restaurant dedicated to vegetarian principles. It’s a great way to showcase the versatility and exciting dishes possible in Thai food using only vegetables. Every year I go home for the Thailand Vegetarian Festival which is celebrated across all parts of Thailand and it inspires me to bring more vegetarian options to Rosa’s Thai Cafes.”
The launch of Rosa’s Thai Veggie follows the group’s mission to showcase a more diverse selection of Thai food in their restaurants including a northern Thai menu at Seven Dials, noodle specials at Carnaby and a North Eastern (Isaan) menu at Victoria. The Soho site is one the group’s most central locations, making it a convenient spot for Londoners craving a Thai vegetarian meal.
