By James Russell: Motorway service operator Welcome Break adds two new Starbucks stores to its business

November 29, 2017

Motorway service operator Welcome Break has today (November 29th) added two new Starbucks stores to the UK-wide business.

It has taken over the Starbucks stores at the Extra Services in both Baldock, Essex on the A1M junction 10 and Beaconsfield at J2 on the M40, Buckinghamshire.

It takes the number of Starbucks stores within Welcome Break to 71.

Both stores will be open 24 hours a day.

Welcome Break Chief Executive Officer, Rod McKie, said: “ We are extremely pleased to have taken on the two Starbucks stores to add to our growing portfolio of successful Starbucks stores.

“We are committed to offering our customers the widest choice of facilities across the motorway network.”

At Beaconsfield Welcome Break will only operate Starbucks, while at Baldock the company also operates the Days Inn hotel, known as The Stevenage Hotel.
