We are pleased to report that contract caterer Talkington Bates is celebrating three new contract wins adding two and a half million to revenues.
Global specialist finance company, The Falcon Group, the European Banking Authority and the International Institute of Anti-Ageing, have all put their trust in the contract caterer.
The three different wins highlight the company’s versatile approach to catering with each business presenting unique demands.
Restaurant standard food will be order of the day for The Falcon Group’s team members, complementing the office’s hotel-style aesthetics.
Meanwhile the fantastic location of the European Banking Authority on the 46th floor of One Canada Square, Canary Wharf, means demands are slightly different – focussing on hospitality catering for large events.
The International Institute of Anti-Ageing was gained after a competitive tender process. The contract incorporates use from the employees of JVCKenwood and Casio. Located in a wonderfully light and airy setting,
Talkington Bates ensured that the new offer was aligned with the demographic, utilising quality fresh ingredients to produce delicious food. Whilst honest, simple and consistent food is not a new concept, it has certainly made it’s impact at IIAA, with sales already up 20% month on month.
Paul Bates, Chairman of Talkington Bates, commented:
“We have always been committed to providing the absolute highest standard of catering and these recent contract wins are testament to this. Our insistence on bespoke solutions has a proven track record and by continuing to put our clients at the heart of everything we do, I’m confident that we can continue to deliver innovative solutions to all types of businesses.
In addition to the new wins, Talkington Bates has successfully retained its contract with laboratory BPL in Elstree following three years, which saw improved loyalty and perception of the catering offer plus sales increase of over 100%.
Joe Fennell, Head of Facilities, BPL said:
“Re-awarding the business to Talkington Bates was a really easy choice. Since they took over operations three years ago the results have been fantastic with individuals often commenting on the standard of food provided. We are thrilled to be working with them again.”
Paul concludes:
“It has been a really rewarding few months for us at Talkington Bates. It’s always nice to retain business and win new contracts and we look forward to the exciting challenges the business faces as our portfolio grows.”
